    In general, very competitive keywords (average monthly search volume >1000) or search volume is too low (average monthly search volume 0-10) keywords should not be selected.  

 

    For some newly established or low traffic online stores, it is difficult to appear in the search results of highly competitive keywords. Even if successful, it will most likely appear on a page so far back that no one will see it at all. For keywords with too low search volume, even if they are ranked high, they do not have much practical effect.
