Add/modify/delete cash registers
Open the CMSclick POS
click Setting
sclick the tab register
click [Add] to add a new cash register.
Fill in the name and description of the cash register, and the location to which it belongs, and then click [Save].
Go back to the cash register list, click on the right side of the cash register to re-edit the cash register information, and click
to delete the cash register.
Enable the cash register in the POS
Open the POStap the three horizontal in the upper right corner, and click
Settings.
Click the functionenable [Cash Drawer Management].
Open the cash register and take inventory
Every day, before the store opens, you need to open the cash register and count the banknotes and coins in the cash register.
Click on the three bars in the upper left cornerclick Cashier.
When the cash register is not turned on, you can see that the status is "OFF".
Click on the arrow icon to enter the cash drawer.
Perform an opening count, count the number of different banknote/coin denominations in the cash register, and enter them one by one on the POS.
For example, if there are 10 $20 and 10 $50 cards in the cash drawer, click [$20 x 0] and enter "10" on the right numeric keypad, then click [$50 x 0] and enter "10" on the right numeric keypad, and the check will show $700.
Alternatively, click "Match" to enter the total amount of cash in the cash register, and then click "Confirm" to complete the count.
Receipts and disbursements of cash
After the opening inventory is completed, the status of the cash register changes from "OFF" to "ON", and the current day's opening and transaction amount are also displayed.
Click on the cash register to open the Cash Incoming and Spending panel.
As with the shop count, click and enter the number of currencies in different denominations, and if necessary, you can enter a note/click on the camera icon to take a photo.
Click "Add Cash" or "Withdraw Cash" to insert/withdraw the amount and face value of cash.
Turn off the cash register and take inventory
At the end of the day, you need to count the cash in the cash register and close the cash register.
Click on the arrow icon to take a daily count.
Count the number of banknotes/coins of different denominations in the cash register and enter their quantities one by one on the POS. Alternatively, click on the number after "Match" and enter the total amount of cash in the cash register.
If necessary, you can enter a comment or tap the camera icon to take a photo.
Click [Confirm] to complete the daily count.
After the daily check-in is completed, the status of the cash register changes to "OFF".
