Description: It refers to the method of importing the basic information of commodities, such as commodity name, retail price, commodity classification and other information in batches by means of excel .
Notice:

If you only want to import basic product information through Excel, remember not to include inventory-related columns in Excel , because once the inventory-related columns are imported, it means that the inventory has been traded/changed, and you can no longer modify the item number/custom SKU no., etc.;

Attributes cannot be imported through Excel and must be created in advance (for example, attributes such as color, size, style, etc.). The options in the properties can be created by importing from Excel without creating them in advance.
How to create attributes (eg: black, white; S, L, etc.). How to add attributes, please refer to: Manage Attributed Products .
Operation guide:
Menu Products>Retail Product> Page click edit mode .
In edit mode, you can check the show/hide files button in the upper right corner. Click this button, you can select the column to display the content according to your needs. How to show/hide files, you can check following picture.
You can learn the following basic definitions of imported product columns:
Commodity number: the unique key of the commodity , no repetition is allowed. you can quickly search for the specified commodity by searching for the commodity number.
Category: Products can be clearly classified, allowing your customers or employees to find related products under the category
Product name: the product name It refers to the name of the product used to distinguish it from other products. You can also enter keywords for easy search.
Shop-enabled: Indicates that the item is displayed in the online store
Enable POS: Indicates that the item is displayed in the POS
Enable membership level: You can control the visibility of products to members of a specific level or all consumer.
Detailed content: When consumers view the product page in the online store , they can see the detailed description of the product, which can include pictures and YouTube video link. (Note: If you use the Excel batch import method, you can import unformatted text)
In edit mode, click Save asàExcel(.xlsx), the template will have the columns what you set. If you want to download all the columns, please select “Export all columns” in the pop-up window.
In the downloaded excel template, fill in the basic information of the product.
Notes: There is only one worksheet is allowed, any multiple sheets will cause importing failure.
After selecting the column that needs to display the content, click Import and select Import Products.
Select the excel file you just edited, click Upload, and when the progress reaches 100%, click Finish.
After that, you can preview the yellow color product information changed and ready to update.
Finally, click “Processed to update” button.

Importing products attribute is similar to importing ordinary products.
For example, we want to add the attribute (color) of a trendy men 's T -shirt , you need to add the product attribute first. To lear how to add the product attribute, click here
Open edit mode and click Save to download the Excel sheet . Attributes must be created before importing, and attribute options (such as red, blue, white, etc. in the color are called attribute options) can be created through Excel import.

You can find the attribute column in the Excel sheet, and fill in according to the different attribute options of the product .
After filling in the information of the product attributes, save it and return to the product management interface, click Import product, and click the proceed to update,
It will be shown the update result. If causes some error, you can client to view the error message as well. The system will download a excel file and remarks all the errors reason.
Note: If the product already exists in the system, you can batches update the product attributes through excel file.
For example, to update the attributes of a T -shirt, you need to add two attributes of color and size, and to update the SKU inventory of different attribute options, you must add the attributes in the system and add the product attributes on editing page. As shown, two attributes have been added to the item.
Go back to the product management interface, you can see that the product has two attributes (color and size).
Click Edit Mode, and click Show / Hide fields
In edit mode, highlight color and size attributes, highlight inventory, and update inventory, remember select inventory option, like “all”.
Note : Please highlight all the attributes associated with the product in the edit mode. If the attributes are incomplete , the import will cause errors.
You can select All Items and Export visible columns.
Fill in different inventory according to the corresponding SKU
After select the import file , you can see that the inventory has been updated, click proceed to update.
Click finish.

HOW TO ADD GENERIC PRODUCT
Instructions：General product means a commodity with only a single SKU and no variant.

Common settings for retail products
GENERAL
Name explanation：
Visibility：The location where the product will be displayed after it is added. Click and select it in the input box where you want to be displayed. Physical stores (POS) can also choose which store locations to list the item.
For example, to display the product in S-01 and W-01, you can set it like this.
Enable visibility schedule：the shelf time of the product. When it open, the shelf time of the product can be set.
Click and choose date range.
Code：Product code, The code of the product, which needs to be set and unique.
Priority：The ordering of products on a web page.

Product name：Name of the product that displayed in the store.
Product Highlight：Will be displayed in product listings, as well as individual product details.
The display position of the product highlight in the online store.

Product Description：It will be displayed in a single product listing, or you can add videos and other display products to the product listing.
CATEGORIES
Click category, select the brand and label of the product.

PHOTOS
Photos-> Click browse to insert photos，or drag and drop the picture into the input box.
Image requirements：The maximum number of pictures is 7, the recommended size of the picture is not more than 1M, and the recommended pixel size is 800x800.
PRICE AND VARIANTS
Name explanation：
Price：The actual price of the product. You can set different membership prices, and the customer will display it after logging in to the membership.
Marked Price：The original price of the item. After setting, a discount label will be displayed on the product in the online store
Member Point：Points can be redeemed for product.
Redemption Price：Refers to the amount of money that needs to be added when redeeming points for a product.

After setting, click Save, and the product is added.
Manage Variants Products
1. ADD PRODUCT VARIANTS& VARIANT OPTIONS
Instructions：Before adding an variant product, make sure you have added the required variants & variant options.

2. COMMON SETTINGS OF VARIANTS PRODUCT
Instructions：The difference between variant products and general products is whether the product needs to be subdivided into different SKUs for management, such as different colors, sizes, etc., and managing its inventory, retail price, pre-order quantity, etc. separately.
Product detail-> click Price & Variant
Name explanation：
Product Variants：Select the variants & variant options associated with this product. Click add to variant for this product. For example: Color.
Then in the drop-down box on the right, you can see all the variant options, such as: blue, yellow, black, etc. Click to select the color associated with the current product.
If this product is associated with multiple variants, continue to click add options for this product.
Attention! Once the product has been traded or the inventory has changed, the variants cannot be modified! But variant options can be increased.
For example: The product "Men's T-shirt" has been associated with the following variants and variant options when it was created:
• Color: red, white
• Sizes: S, M, L, XL
Once the product has been traded or the stock has changed, the color and size variant cannot be deleted, nor can new variant be added.
But new colors and new sizes can be added, such as black, or size XXL.
If the product really needs to be modified, remove product from the shelf, re-created with a new variant product, and associated with the new product variant.

2.1 SET SKU INFO
Guideline：
After adding the variant product, you can set the SKU content, and you can click to edit it again.
SKU info->Show/hide field
Name explanation：
Manufacturer Barcode：Merchants can use this number to generate a QR code or barcode to scan.
Self Defined SKU No.: The number of the SKU that the merchant can customize.
Image：Images corresponding to different SKU variant options.
SKU.NO：Different system-generated SKU numbers.
Retail Price：Set different SKU prices.
After setting, click save.
3. HOW TO VIEW PRODUCT VARIANT ON THE PRODUCT MANAGEMENT PAGE.
To view the product variants in the normal mode of the product management page, click to Show/hide field.
Click Variant in Show/hide field.
Search for the newly added variant product and click the triangle to expand.
You can see the variant options for this product.
Click edit mode to check product variants.
Click Show/hide field->Variant Option, Select the Variants & language to be displayed.
After searching for a product, pull down the menu to the right to find the variant options column.
4. SET THE RETAIL PRICE, INVENTORY, ETC. OF EACH VARIANT OPTION OF THE PRODUCT SEPARATELY
Instructions：Merchants can individually set each variant option to have different retail price, inventory, pre-order quantity, etc. For example: "Men's T-shirt" is red, with 3 pieces in L size, and the retail price is 200HKD; white, with 2 pieces in XL size, and the retail price is 210HKD.
Guideline：
Click edit mode-> Click Show/hide field.
Select the input item that needs to be edited, as well as all variants related to this product, and then return to the product management.
According to different variant options, fill in different retail price, list price, etc., click Proceed to Update > Update Now after completion.
Practical example: Take "variant product 1" as an example, set the three colors of the product to have different retail prices.
Open edit mode and click show/hide field
Select Price，Variant: Color
Search for the product name and enter different retail prices according to the three colors.
Click Proceed to Update.
Confirm the modified content again (yellow highlight is the modified content), and click Update Now.
Search for the item in the online store and select the variant option.
Switch between different colors, you can see that different variant options correspond to different prices.

5. PICTURE OF SETTING EACH VARIANT OPTION OF THE PRODUCT SEPARATELY
Guideline：
There are two ways, which can be uploaded on the product details page or on the product edit mode:
First：On the product management page, find the product whose SKU image needs to be set, and click the eye icon to edit it.
Click the SKU info, upload the SKU image, click Save to complete the upload action.
Second：Edit mode->Click Show/hide field
Select SKU image and return product management page.
Upload the SKU image corresponding to each variant option.
After the upload is complete, click Proceed to Update > Update Now.
After entering the online store, switch between different variant options - color, you can see the corresponding SKU image.

1.IMPORT BATCH GENERAL PRODUCT PHOTOS
Instructions：If the product has no variants (no color, size, etc.), it is an general product。
Guideline：
For example: Now prepare to import a photo of men's T-shirts in batches, find this product in Retail Product, click edit mode.
Copy product code.
In the product image folder, change the image name of the product to the corresponding product code. If there are multiple photos, enter brackets after the name and type the photo number. Use English brackets, such as (1) (2)(3) represent three photos.
Tips: It is recommended that the size of a single image should not exceed 1MB, and the image format should be in JPG, JPEG or PNG.
After modifying the name, select the picture, right-click to generate a compressed file.
Tips：select the file image to generate the compressed file, do not select the folder, otherwise there will be problems in importing, and you need to confirm that the compressed file only has the image file and no other files. A single ZIP file should not exceed 50M
After generating the compressed file, return to the product management page.
Click Import, then Import Product Images.
Click to select file, select the compressed package just now, note that the compressed package format needs to be ZIP.
Select ZIP file and Open.
Wait for the progress bar to be 100% and click Finish.
It shows that the upload has been successful, click to update now, update to the online store and POS.
Go to the online store category to find this product, the display picture has been updated.
If there are multiple compressed packages to be imported, you need to upload a compressed package, click Update Now, and then continue to upload the next compressed package.
Instructions：If the product has different SKU variant, and you want the corresponding SKU image to be automatically displayed when the consumer selects different variant (for example: when the consumer selects red, the online store will automatically display the red shirt image). Then you need to import the SKU image。
Guideline：
Product Management-> click Edit Mode, click Show/Hide field.
General Field-> Select SKU NO.，Manufacturer Barcode and Self Defined SKU No.
Import the pictures of men's T-shirts in the category, you can see that there is no corresponding SKU image at present, it is a unified picture. Swipe right on the table to find SKU No., or custom SKU No. or Manufacturer Barcode. Any of the three can be used to import SKU images.
The SKU No., custom SKU No. and Manufacturer Barcode here are the unique numbers of the SKU. When importing product images, you can use this number as the image file name in the same way as normal product images are imported.
Refer to the general product image import operation method, in the image file name, enter SKU No., or custom SKU.NO, or Manufacturer Barcode, any of the three can be.
Generate compressed file package Click to import.
After the loading is complete, it shows that the SKU image has been generated.
Click Proceed to Update.
Check if the product details have been successful.
Select a different SKU, the picture will change accordingly, indicating that the upload has been successful.
